BEGINNERS YOGA SERIES

Rate for 4-week series: $50

The Beginners Series is for those who are brand new to yoga and those who would like a refresher. Start at the beginning, learning the basic yoga postures, how to move into and safely hold them.

PRENATAL SERIES

with Jenn Davis

Wednesdays, 6:00 - 7:15 pm

Dates: April 14th - May 19th, June 2nd - July 7th, July 21st - August 25th

Rate for 6-week series: $75

This 6-week series strengthens the pregnant woman's body to support her throughout her pregnancy, labor and post-delivery. Yoga can help to create ease and build endurance, while deepening the connection with baby. All levels welcome; it is best to check with your doctor before beginning. This series runs in six-week sessions with one week off between sessions.

NOTE: If you are interested in starting mid-series, you are welcome to drop in at any time. You do not need to wait until the beginning of the next series.

DONATION-BASED YOGA CLASSES

Open to all levels

Join Kelly Valenzuela for her new donation-based yoga classes. These classes are open to all levels and abilities, both physical and financial. All are welcome; all donations are anonymous.Yoga benefits everyone so it should be affordable for everyone.

With over ten years of yoga teaching experience, Kelly offers classes that both challenge and nurture her students. With an eye for healthy movement and alignment, Kelly teaches students how to practice at the level that is appropriate to their needs and abilities. Her teaching style takes you on a physical journey that leads to a spiritual destination.

MOVING FROM THE DEEP CENTER
with Mia Boyle
Saturday, July 24th, 2010 - 12-2:30pm

Cost: $20
This workshop will emphasize moving your body from the core. We will begin by working with the internal subtleties of movement, some breath work and an overview of the 3 Bandhas. Then, we will move into an exploration of transitions: more specifically the internal dynamics of how to gracefully move from one pose into another by shifting of weight, working WITH gravity and using body weight to feel a pose. Finally, we will explore some variations of inversions (adaptable to all levels of practice) and end with an exploration of sound vibration (Nada Yoga) and deep Savasana.
